Advantages of wooden matchbooks

The advantage of these high-quality wooden matchbooks is that both the outside and the inside of the booklets are available for custom printing. The combs have a standard overall length of approx. 50 mm, while the maxi combs for our maxi matchbooks (art. 9682) come in a length of approx. 90 mm (including striking head). While the combs are glued into the booklet, each individual match has a pre-punched perforation or predetermined breaking point that ensures that it can be easily torn out of the booklet. The combs are generally available in their natural condition. For an additional charge, however, they can be dyed in black, yellow, red, green or blue.  Apart from that, you can choose from among 16 different striking head colours. 

Wooden matchbooks - Manufacturing and standard models

Our wooden matchbooks are manufactured according to all applicable standards (ISO EN 1783), while the striking heads are free from sulphur or other harmful heavy metals.

KM Match offers a total of 12 standard models. Special punching in different sizes and versions (e.g. in the shape of a bottle, car, mobile phone etc.) is possible as well.  Besides, you can choose from among 3 flap lengths to match your requirements: short, medium or long. To ensure that the booklet remains closed and guarantee maximum visibility of your brand logo or advertising message, our matchbooks are also available with a magnetic closure or special tuck-in flap.

Customizing possibilities

Available for custom printing from a quantity of only 500 units, our wooden matchbooks will impress you with their attractive price-performance ratio.  They are customised with offset printing using the Euroscale (CMYK = four colours), Pantone or HKS colour systems. 9651 and 9671 have become our bestselling models.  If you would like to give your matchbooks a classy and creative finish, you may choose from several additional options, such as high-quality blind or hot foil embossing, special cartons (eco kraft paper, laid paper or metallic carton), coloured striking surfaces or different finishing options (UV coating, matt coating, partial UV coating or soft touch coating).  Upon request, the matchbook caddies can also be personalised, and thus be turned into another sales promotion tool.
